“Kinda upsetting…
I’ve had to switch hosts twice in the past year, with HostGator being my third web hosting company. Unfortunately I cannot fully recommend these guys either. Their load times where poor…and when load times are poor I know that people are hitting the back button, which means my bounce rates start to fall…which means some of my rankings fall off! I don’t like the fact that I have to pay the entire year’s hosting fees upfront, even though it is cheap, I guess I’m just not very trusting of web hosts anymore. The security if fine over here and the support is responding to my inquiries and helping me, but I just cannot give these guys the full thumbs up right now.”

HostGator is the best in my book. I have a reseller hosting account with them which has about 6 subscribers right now. For the past year I got nothing but great service from these people. The best thing about HostGator is that they're a very dependable host. Whenever I needed to ask them something the HG support staff was always available to answer me. I find that getting an answer is quicker and more convenient using live chat than calling them so I like the fact that they have 24 hour a day support available by live chat as well. Their prices are quite good. I know that there are a few hosts out there which provide cheaper services for reseller hosting but I really prefer to be working with a good hosting company as a reseller rather than going with a cheap company and getting bad service.

I have experience using plenty of other web hosts and I will honestly say that Host Gator is by far the best web host that I've ever used for the shared hosting type. Been with Go Daddy and was experiiencing plenty of problems like rude customer service incessant upsells stuff that didn't work in their control panel and all kinds of other problems. At Host Gator I was happy to see that their service was a very good one which worked just the way it was supposed to. Nothing too complicated and they didn't always try to get you to upgrade your package or buy additional domains every day, etc. From the very moment that I registered my hosting account with them the thing worked right away like a charm. I never needed to speak with their technical support as simply reading their online help materials was good enough to answer all of the questions that I had about using the control panel and the file manager to upload some files as well as setting up FTP accounts to quickly upload more files to my website. Everything is done very well with Host Gator and I would like to really thank them for giving me a good hosting experience.

Hostgator has always been a great hosting company in my opinion. I've been using them on and off for the past decade for various web projects I've had and they were always doing everything the correct way. I've had VPS accounts as well as regular shared hosting, now have just a shared account for 1 site. Prices are competitive, maybe not the lowest but still very good value for the excellent and flexible service given. The limits they have on their shared hosting services are very reasonable considering the price and the fact that you can hold unlimited sites. On one account you can reasonably have 4 or 5 WordPress blogs with a medium amount of content on them. Customer service has always been very rapid in responding to tickets submitted through the Cpanel and live chat support is always fast 24 hours a day. My favorite web host so f

HostGator is the perfect host for me. My needs aren't too complex as I just run a very simple website with a a few pages of information about my business. I mainly use them for their email hosting service to communicate with clients who are interested in my business. Setting up the form mail script on my website has been easy and their support team gave me instructions on how to integrate it well with my website. I'm now going to add a blog as a subdomain of my existing site to give some updates to my site visitors. HostGator has never failed me in all the time I was their user up to now, so I will definitely be staying around with them for a long time.

Service at this host is one of the best I've seen in the past decade. Only a few times has my website been slightly slower than it should have been going but aside from that I have really nothing to complain about reliability wise. Only real problem I've had was the domain renewal as they didn't send me the email about domain renewal and my domain expired for a day. They were able to renew it and good thing it was back up and going in just a few hours.

Good company in general. HostGator has improved its services a lot in the past year it seems. Now customer service is faster and the service for webhosting is working much better with almost zero down time.

I agree with everyone that says Hostgator is a very good host, because it is. I was with some other cheap host before and I always had trouble with my website having time outs when connecting to the server. Nothing like this has ever happened to me with my Hostgator service and I'm very thankful for that. A few of the times that I needed to contact the customer service at Hostgator was to fix my billing information after my card expired and have my account restored after making the payment. All works well for me now at Hostgator.

HostGator is just great for my needs at this time. I have the Baby package and it works very well as it allows me to run multiple web sites from the same account. Now with 4 sites operating in the hosting account, never seen HostGator complain that I've been using too much traffic or anything of the kind. With their hosting packages you get everything unlimited, like domains, subdomains, email accounts, etc. This is very practical if you're running multiple websites that are associated with different online businesses that you have. I consider HostGator to be my top choice for hosting. I do maintain a few other accounts with different hosts for some client websites that I run, but for my own use I stay with HostGator, as this webhost has never failed to provide services that were adequate for me in all the time that I used them. Quite simply put this is an excellent webhost that I will recommend fully to all of you.

This is the only host that I can say I've never really had a problem with. Set up of my account was easy and done instantly without any waiting. Within less than an hour, my website was up and running well with HostGator. I was able to add a second website and use Joomla hosting with an e-commerce plugin as well. Highly recommend this host because of their performance so far and the main reason is that I don't have any trouble at all with all of their services. Definitely HostGator is one of the best ones online.
